Flights to Zante

Zante, otherwise known as Zakynthos, is the third largest of the Ionian Islands in Greece. A popular tourist destination due to the beautiful beaches, wonderful weather and captivating culture, Zante has everything you need for an unforgettable experience.
Home to the endangered Caretta turtle, the National Marine Park of Zante and the famous Smugglers cove with its glorious white cliffs and clear turquoise waters, not forgetting the much photographed shipwreck, this unique holiday destination offers tourists breathtaking sights and a wealth of activities.
If snorkelling and scuba diving is your thing, Zante also boasts the Blue Caves in the very north of the island, luring snorkelers to take to the seas and uncover the wealth of marine life hidden beneath white rocks. Marathonisi, a small island just off the coast, is also a popular spot with scuba divers as it is a nesting ground for the Caretta turtle. Accessible by organised boat trips, the soft sandy beaches are ideal for sunbathing and soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine.
Other tourist attractions include the Solomou Square, the main square in Zante town named after the Greek National poet Dionysios Solomos. His statue dominates the square which is surrounded by other points of interest such as the Church of Saint Nikolas on the Mole, the oldest building on the square and the only Venetian building to have survived the 1953 earthquake. The square also contains The Byzantine Museum of Zakynthos, which hosts an impressive collection of statues, sculptures and hagiographies from the Byzantine era, and the remarkable Cultural Centre of Zakynthos, housing over 50,000 literary works and the historical archives of Zakynthos.
Whatever you want from your holiday, whether it’s breathtaking views and stunning surroundings or sandy beaches to relax and unwind, crystal clear waters to dive and discover or museums and monuments filled with culture; Zante has it all.
